Cedar Point 2016

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Exactly.

I went a couple years ago and got Fast Pass for the first time; I'll never go back to waiting in lines. If you only go once a year or so, it's easily worth the extra money.

If I recall there are two fast passes, and for the good ones you need the "Ultra" fast pass or whatever and get charged out the ass. Haven't looked at prices yet this year but I'm guessing it's gonna be like $150 per person with fast passes. But like you said, going once a year, why not.

Curious for anyone who HAS done the Fast Lane a lot at CP- what are the wait times generally like? I went last September and had fun but pretty much got to ride the big/new coasters once and that was pretty much our day due to wait times (everything was around 90+ minute waits). Standing in lines just kills my mood at these parks, I hate it.

Bought it once a few years ago on a day where I got there and it was ungodly crowded for some reason.

These are estimates, because I've been to the park dozens of times, but here are what I generally remember the fast-lane versus normal wait times being:

Millennium Force: 25 min vs. 3 HR
Top Thrill Dragster: 40 min vs. 3 HR
Maverick: 10 min vs. 2 1/2 HR
GateKeeper: 10 min vs. 2 HR
Raptor: 10 min vs. 2 HR
Magnum: 10 min vs. 1 1/2 HR

It's generally worth it, but gauge the parking lot and crowds before buying it. Damn things are pricey and you get heckled a lot by the people waiting in lines that didn't buy one when you just pass them up :chuckle:

They do it a little different though. First I have to go in and they have one of their medical staff look at me to see what kind of rides they will let me on and if I'm really disabled. I can stand a bit and transfer into a coaster I think, it's been like 20 years since I have been. But I should be just fine.

Now when we go to a ride I will have this sheet of paper that they give me. The guy working the line will estimate how long of a wait it is and say come back in like 30 min. Then he will sign the paper with the time. We go hang out and do something else and come back and get right on.

Then we can sign up for another ride, you can't sign up for more than 1 at a time. I think it's a pretty fair system all around. @Ohio @Hurl Bruce

Went to Six Flags Great Adventure with a friend who walks with a cane and so he did that with us. He also was incredibly knowledgeable about all the rides and perks in the park. It wasn't even that crowded but it was a really easy day and I got 9 new coaster credits in without barfing.

Park never gets old, Dragster was a 45 min wait all day, rode that bitch 4 times already. Definitely the most intense adrenaline rush roller coaster wise.

Only saw one LeBron Lakers jersey, I'm actually shocked.

A ton of Cavs gear though. Proudly.

I'm still available

I've only been up there once this year, and of course Steel Vengeance was down the entire day. Will probably head up there for a Halloweekend or two this year.

Might not be able to get there until next year. Damn.
