Supports what we know. Cedi is an excellent connector who moves well and moves the ball well when he doesn't have the chance to think.

Its when he needs to be creative there is a problem

Biggest issue I have with Cedi is his defense. He doesn't play smart enough on that end, and his size and wingspan don't help against wings much. He actually seems better on smaller 2s

He was known as a tenacious defender hustle player so that always rubs me the wrong way

Cedi led Turkey with 22 points, 6 rbnds, 3 assists, but Turkey lost 72-79 to Jokic (a rare double-double in FIBA games with 24 points and 10 rebounds) led Serbia. I missed the first half of the match and there isn't a highlights video available yet (as far as I have seen). Cedi played IMO very good in the 3rd and 4th quarter, and Turkey won those, but Serbia had got such a bid lead in first half they never were in any danger really. Hopefully I will tomorrow have time to watch the whole match, to see what really happened in quarters 1 and 2.

The highlights, with a few plays where Cedi truly shines :)

Seems the Joker was murdering Turkey in the first half, and that was too much for Turkey to catch up.

Cedi had an interesting year last year. His best offensive season ever from a per-36 scoring and an efficiency standpoint, in his lowest playing time averages ever (except for his rookie year when Lebron was here). Double digit scoring in 22 MPG isn’t easy. Not sure if it was just because he got time against reserves but he flashed some real offensive potential

That's a real Who's Who of 8th and 9th men, plus Joe Ingles.
Some really nice sleepers there tho between GP2, Konchar, and McLaughlin. They are later two are sorta offensive versions of what we can see from Dean and Lamar where they are really really good role players who can just make a system work due to their smart understanding of the game.

Sometimes national team performances suggest a player is going to turn a corner , and sometimes, they suggest they are who we thought they were
