charlie frye starting

charlie frye is going to start this 4th pre season game.

Dilfer will not play :chuckles: damn scrub anyway.

I think the fans will be hard on dilfer all season, everyone will want frye, and dilfer is in his way. We've had this problem before. :chuckles:

yeah couch and holcombe lol well eventually frye will be the starter dilfer will be gone in a year or two i cant wait to see frye with the big boys 1st stringas!

I'd prefer not to start Frye come the regular season if for no other reason than I don't want to slow his development by getting him hammered. We didn't have a line for couch, he got hammered, lost his confidence, and never recovered. Guess what? Our line still can't pass block. Let's let Dilfer take the lumps this year, and Frye can come in and finish out the blow out games for us.

Hopefully next year we'll finally get a real LT. I'm sad to say it, but I wish we still had Verba. The guy couldn't move a guy in the running game, but he at least was decent at protecting our QB's blind side.

Frye looks good, can't say the same for Will Green-- not that i'm surprised or anything.

Our running game is awful. Thats everybody, the RBs, the OL, everything. Awful. Pathetic really..

Frye shouldnt see the feild at all this year, but we have some of the most ignorant fans in the NFL so it wont be long til people are crying for Charlie to start. Thats the only drawback of him bing a local product.

we should all learn from our mistakes. putting frye in now is setting him up to fail. plain and simple.
