All the skills !!! Kind of a pussy tho..

At any rate was anyone ever excited about Chris Mihm ? I’m just trying to think back because the guy was 7 foot, back to the basket skills, foot work was tremendous...

Like even if that guy with that kinda skill set was drafted today I’d still be wildly intrigued..

I really liked him, thought he was an awesome combo with a healthy Z. Dude was a mountain of a man. Too bad, as you astutely put it, he was a pussy.

Sister was hot and played volleyball in college. Appears to be a yoga instructor now.

I picture her having very compact, puffy labias. @David.

What no love for Ira Newble or Mihms running mate Lasagna Diop?

I was a big fan of Mihm coming out of college. I wanted him on the Cavs so bad and I was dejected he was taken 1 spot before us by Chicago. Then we took Jamal Crawford and I was even more pissed. THEN we traded the 2 for each other and I was overjoyed!

We would at best have the new version of the twin towers in Mihm and Z. At worst, he'd be Z's replacement because injuries killed his career. A young back to the basket center with good touch and passing skills. Oh boy!!!

I really held out hope for him. So did the Cavs. I got a signed Mihm jersey for re-upping my Cavs season tickets one year.

I saw glimpses in his talent but I think I was looking too hard. He was bad.

Yeah the NBA rules are so different now, 20 years since Mihm was a freshman at Texas. He was a true big man who could rebound and block shots at the college level. Remember this is before the influx of Euro talent. At this point, a coordinated center was fairly rare and hard to lock down. Mihm wasn't an efficient scorer by today's standards, but mid-range shooting from a big had a lot more value at this point.

These days, a solid but unspectacular 6'11 guy is a dime a dozen. The guy they traded away was just a 6'5 iso gunner who didn't stay in college long enough to develop his game. The trade was justifiable for that era of the NBA. Since then, globalization and the elimination of the college game as a development step for the NBA makes it look like a disaster.

His hair was perfect.

I know Mihm suffered the injury bug but not as much as one of my favorite draft picks, Luke Jackson. I will always think he could've been special.

Mihm,Diop,Wagner...........oh the lost years.
Mihm’s ineffectiveness to me is part of the reason for Diop in ‘01

If Mihm was solid the Cavs could have maybe made a play for Joe Johnson or Richard Jefferson that next draft which could have prompted them to maybe not go Wagner in ‘02 and try to bolster the front court with Stoudemire or go with Butler instead to have size on the perimeter?

Which probably leads to the Cavs stuck with TJ Ford in ‘03....

So thank you, Chris Mihm...

You're a Jacksonsite also? He was so pure reminded me of Rick Mount plus extremely athletic. All of those pre draft workouts being hurt but pushing through did Luke in. My captain, my captain oh what could have been.
