word has it that if tampa trades down to get smith or rodgers that they are willing to trade simms for a pick.

i personally would love this move if we can give a 4th rounder for him.. we also dont have to use that second round pick for a qb either if we didnt draft one in the first round.. we can fill holes that we need and possibly draft a playmaker with our first pick.. i hope that smith or rodgers are still on the board when its our pick and tampa trades down with us and we recieve simms and an addtional pick..

i also like simms.. was hoping this off-season that we could of somehow traded for him. in his career he has been an emotional player and for that he is somwhat like couch. but i think a change of scenery for this guy would be just what he needs.

God I hope not..

Gruden is the head coach there, the same coach that made decent QBs out of Brad Johnson and Brian Griese, made Rich Gannon an MVP, was a QBs coach in San Fran, but Simms has to be the dumbest on feild QB to step on the field.

Im being sarcastic, obviously, but he is and never will be a NFL starter. Gruden wont even work with him, he has been trying to give him away and teams want nothing to do with him.

If anything, he may trade NEXT YEARS 6th rounder, make it a conditional 5th and he would be our backup, insurance policy.

He def would never be brought here to be a starter, or our future. We could get Ramsey from the Redskins for cheap if we wanted a young back up, maybe even Harrington from Detroit.

Id throwup if he was brought here to be our future.
