Seattle is either going to take Lopez or Mayo with this pick, and with Green, possibly Durant, Collison, Swift, and Petro all young and needing frontcourt minutes, Wilcox might be the odd man out. He's still young, athletic, and would give us a legit finisher who can actually catch the ball and dunk in one motion. Thoughts?

Hmmm... Interesting. If we don't give up too much then I'm all for it. Not sure how he can handle tough PFs like Duncan. And I haven't seen much of his post game.

He's Drew Gooden Jr, who dunks more than shooting. That's the best way of looking at him.

Once in a while he did. But Wilcox is basically just Drew that dunks more.
Amen to that. Wilcox is also a far inferior rebounder than Drew. Don't know what the incentive would be here other than good fast breaks (which might actually be a good point).

Although I'd like to add some athleticism upfront, if the Cavs were going to go after a Sonics big man I'd prefer Collison to Wilcox. Neither is a long term answer though.

Problem is that we already have 4 big man with big contracts and all of them want playing time... Unless we unload one of our big man to someone else, it doesn't make sense to bring in another highly paid big that is going to want minutes...

Plus, Wilcox seems likes he's a better fit in the open-court where he can take advantage of his athleticism rather in the half-court where he doesn't have much in the way of low-post moves...
