Cleveland Browns 2020 Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
My biggest concern going into last year was the offensive line. We had question marks at both tackle positions, and had traded away a Pro Bowl guard. It seemed like a huge blind spot about which the GM really didn't seem to care.

Berry is a breath of fresh air as far as the OL concerned. Obviously Conklin was a huge get, but so was Bill Callahan, who I imagine was a bit more expensive than the average OL coach. That, plus the FO's heavily reported interest in the top OT's, makes me feel a shitload better going into this season. At the bare minimum, we should be an even better running team.

It felt like Dorsey's answer to offensive line holes was, "Well, we got James Campen away from the Packers." We saw that even if the Browns upgrade the position coach, there is only so much room for growth when the talent level is low. Campen ended up with the Chargers, he has a rock solid reputation, but Callahan is a zone blocking Jedi master.

I know I'm jumping the gun here but, I'm stationed at fort hood and as long as they allow fans I'm at the browns v cowboys game. Anyone else that will be there Id ove to link up up and show them how our fans roll!

Based on projections that tend to overweigh 2019 records, this is about expected.

It's still the AFC South and NFC East that are playing the AFCN, and few teams in either of the first two divisions made enormous improvements on paper. I still don't think Rivers is much of an upgrade over Brissett, and both they and TN have a lot less money to use on the rest of their rosters due to the QB deals.

CIN, NYG, and JAX appear to be "penalized" schedule-wise by not being able to play themselves.

NFL keeping that CLE-PIT game off national tv is some real bullshit.

Barf at that start. Potential couple of gimmies down the stretch.

Ugh, probably our streak of not winning the opener extends to 16 games, one of our most odds-defying feats of many; basic statistics would have us winning 4 or 5 of them.

However, we have won 2 of our last 5 trips to M&T, so it's not a given.
