Cleveland Browns 2021 Regular Season: RIP

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Whatever it takes to see less Mack Wilson out there.
Interesting! Foster is very talented, but has had a lot of problems off the field. Hey, it’s worked out well with Malik McDowell thus far.

Loved Foster as a player in that 2017 draft.

Sadly his trajectory has tanked due to character and injury issues. As others have said, doubt he fits the same mold as the McDowell reclamation play, unfortunately.

Browns trying to be Redemption U. Not a big follower of NFL news, wasn't Ruben in trouble for domestic issues?

Edit- looking into his wiki (I know, I know) seems like a lot of the domestic was dropped or not charged because of lack of evidence. So maybe his redemption is image and not character

Charges were dropped and his girlfriend admitted that her accusations had been fabricated.

She went on to explain that she falsified claims about Foster as a part of “a money scheme.”

“It was all a money scheme. I didn’t want to get this far in the news. It was about money,” said Ennis on the stand.

The Browns linebacker coach (Jason Tarver) was his linebacker coach in SF during his rookie season. They probably have a good feeling about who he is as a person/teammate and decisions would be made mostly based on health of the knee.

He deserves to get a shot at Redemption U

So digging in just a bit, he was arrested in college for possession of weed, then a couple of DV arrests but followed by this statement. He might be done because of his injuries, but if the statement is true, i have no issue brining him in, who gives a shit about weed issues in today's NFL? And maybe it was a money grab by the ex.

On April 25, Foster's girlfriend through her lawyer made a statement saying “(Foster) did not strike her, injure her or threaten her,” and that the domestic violence claims were made after Foster attempted to end the relationship after she told him her injuries resulted from a fight with another woman.[71] On May 17, Elissa Ennis testified under oath that she had fabricated the story "as a money scheme

I am sure you read that it appears the only legit legal issue he had was a bust for smoking weed in college.

Personally weed has proven to help players with pain and head trauma, i not only think that the shouldnt be tested for weed, i think the league should grow it for them, lol
