Cleveland Browns 2021 Regular Season: RIP

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I mean if we are going to kick the tires on Reuben Foster, why not give Jamie Collins a shot? I mean, if he is shot, it should be an easy decision to not sign him.
Reuben Foster would be a reclamation project attempt, not unlike Malik McDowell.

I don't think Collins has any untapped potential. I'm no cap expert but I think taking on his 4 million would cut into our rollover cap space.

Collins wasn't good enough for a SB-quality New England team, he's not good enough for a presumably bad Detroit team. I just assume he's not any good anymore.
He’d fit right in with the rest of our LBs aside from JOK.

Looking for a monster game from Delpit and JOK. They are speedy defenders that can hit.
JOK with 2 TFL and a pick.
delpit with 8 tackles, a pick 6, and a sack.

We are going to murder the bears. Browns 35-13 in a get-right game for the home team.

Apologies if this has been posted. Best part is Jim Donovan saying “please slide” at the 4:20ish mark :chuckle:

Love having that guy as our QB, and there is no way in hell the Browns aren't signing him to a long-term deal. You'd destroy the morale of that team if you did because he's the heart of it.

Been listening to some podcasts and everyone predicting the Bears are going to beat us. Am I missing something? Or they just thinking same old Browns at the moment?

I imagine the buzz of Fields starting lends itself to people seeking out and sharing positive stories about the Bears.

It's the same reason people put controversial choices at the top of ranking lists. It means more clicks.

I mean, Tyrod Taylor was ripping our defense to shreds...so I certainly understand the idea that Fields could do the same.

If the Browns treat this game like they did the Texans game, it could very well be another close game.

That said, I think we're going to see a more focused Browns team this time, and I anticipate seeing some different looks from the defense as well.

There no one I'd rather hear mic'd up than Baker. I can already hear Cowherd using the 4:25 mark in this video as evidence that even in his fourth season he still can't relay the play calls properly in the huddle :chuckle: . I also noticed for the first time that as Baker was on the ground after injuring his shoulder, one of the Texan DBs was standing over him talking shit.

Probably a combination of them starting an exciting young mobile QB against a defense that was getting torn up by Tyrod Taylor last week and thinking that the Bears defense is as good this year as it has been in years past (spoiler: it’s not… not even close).

I think the Browns win this one handily and hang at least 35 on them, but we’ll see.

There's no better player to throw unique looks and pressures at than a rookie quarterback. He's not going to meticulously pick you apart, and he's probably going to also make unforced errors.

I want to see an aggressive defense. I don't care if it gives up a couple of big plays. They've been doing that anyhow.
