Cleveland Browns 2021 Regular Season: RIP

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I dont wanna hear any negativity. This Bears defense made Joe Burrow look like a rookie. They averaged 17ppg thus far this season and in all reality they should have only had 3 points against us.

We are 2-1. Chiefs are 1-2. Ravens are 2-1 because they needed the longest FG in NFL history to beat the Lions. The Bills lost to the dead in water Steelers.

Moral of the story, you take the wins however they come and build on your success week after week.

To be fair...Burrow might as well be a rookie when you consider how many games he has actually played.

But I agree with the rest of your points. The defense looked good when it needed to, and the other AFC contenders have shown some weakness. There is nothing from this game to be discouraged about if you're a Browns fan.

I wouldnt dispute that. I simply added that (for the people in the back) who complain about Baker leaving points on the board instead of just enjoying the win. Our fanbase does have a lot of miserable bastards who enjoy their misery.

Anyone else a bit worried about this stretch we have coming? Minnesota on the road with Newsome (potentially) out — Cousins might have a good game; he’s been playing decently thus far. Just doesn’t look like a foregone affair to me by any means but it looks like Dalvin Cook is out.

The Chargers just went into KC and gave them the business; Arizona has the little guy who can run around and throw well downfield; their front 7 is playing well and Collins might be the best rookie lb whose name isn’t Jeremiah.

The Broncos could very well be boasting the best secondary in the NFL; we may have to rely heavy on the run game if Beckham “hasn’t gotten his legs under him” by then and Landry still isn’t going.

Just saying; that’s no joke of a season’s quarter given how things have played out thus far. Obviously you take things week by week but sheeeeit

Which pretty much means they both suck. I mean, for a 4th round pick to not even be active for a single game is pretty bad. Of course, on the plus side, we got the Maliks for basically nothing each. But my guess is that before the offseason began, most would have guessed that the two guys who aren't playing would have been far more likely than our current starters to actually play substantial snaps.
It also means that for 25% of the Bears paltry offensive snaps, either Myles or Clowney were lined up inside at DT

Because when you add up the Clowney, Garrett, Takk, and Joe Jackson snaps, it equals 101 instead of 90( 45 x 2)

Just a super weird game in that regard since in a normal game where the opponent has some longer drives and gets more in the 60-70 snap range, I doubt Clowney for example would have been in on 87% of the snaps like he was yesterday.

Haven't paid attention to Minnesota the last couple years - so I don't know if they're good but my guess is probably not. Their WRs are a little worrisome but Cousins is not. Hopefully their O-line sucks too.

Chargers will be a tough game, no doubt about that.

Arizona and especially Denver have beaten up on the little sisters of the poor so far. Not worried.

If the Browns are as good as we think they are, we should go 3-1 at worst over the next 4 games.

Minnesota lost two close games to the Bengals and Arizona before beating the Seahawks by 13. I don’t think any of the next four games are locks by any means. This league is week-to-week.

Really bizarre how many people are so mad at LeBron for maturing and rooting for his hometown team. Especially considering that the Browns were the worst franchise in all of professional sports from 1999-2018. When LeBron came of age we didn’t even have a damn team so it’s understandable he liked the Cowboys. I liked a bunch of non-Cleveland teams when I was young. Kids are front runners. I even took some of those fandoms into young adulthood. And yes, I still root for Lebron and the Lakers as well as the Cavs. Lots of Cavs fans do.

If Browns go 2-2, they’ll be in good shape. 3-1 out of a stretch like that would be fantastic.

There’s some potential playoff teams in there. Beating playoff teams is…tough. Especially on the road.
