Cleveland Browns 2021 Regular Season: RIP

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Part of me thinks that the team was looking ahead to ARZ by sitting guys yesterday. We definitely needs Wills and Conklin because we got Chandler Fucking Jones and JJ Fucking Watt coming in here on Sunday.

I didn't get that feeling at all.

A game against the Chargers inherently has more implications than a game against the Cardinals.

Guys are banged up and can't play; simple as that.

Wonder if after getting outcoached by an even more aggressive Staley, Stefanski will be even more aggressive this season.

The defense was the biggest story to me. Inexcusably bad.

Baker’s final drive was gross and the PI call was too, but when you give up that many points you aren’t doing your jobs. That game is on the defense, injured or not.

Find a way.

Can't score 42 and lose. Put it all on the defense.

I agree about The Chargers game being more important but you have two options. Play them all 3 games or sit the Chargers game. I don't see a scenario where someone plays Sunday and sits against The Cardinals and then plays on Thursday vs Denver.

I wish the game yesterday was in Arizona and we were playing the Chargers next week.

Lmao sitting players in anticipation of another regular season game... asinine.

This is the NFL buddy.

Yeah.

More red flags up for Baker IMO, but it wasn’t his “fault” they lost. It was the defense’s fault.

Unfortunately, I think we’ve seen all that Baker is capable of and all that Stef thinks he is capable of. And I don’t believe that’s enough to keep him around if an elite rookie came available to draft. Not sure if that’s going to happen though.

Browns season is going to be decided on Nov 28th and Dec 12th. They make the playoffs if they win both of those games.

I think it's WAY too early to draw conclusions on this season. 17 games and we've already seen how much injuries can change outlooks. NFL is week-to-week (hell, the Chargers game was series-to-series) and it's going to be a hard-fought war of attrition. Ravens have been lucky so far but that's not guaranteed going forward. We're waiting on MRI results. Chiefs have been bad but are they really out of it? Arizona is undefeated but we are favored.

Pull those seat belts tighter -- it's going to be some ride.
