DK Metcalf would be worth the price of admission.
For sure, but he costs at least a 1st and a 3rd. And if we're gonna pay that kind of cost it won't be for a rental, so we'd better be prepared to sign him for 20+ million in 2023. With Dorsey behind the helm I'd expect us to go for it but IDK if paying such a price is to Berry's taste. Especially if we spend assets to upgrade at QB.

I think there are solid WRs that could be brought in for a lot cheaper. While certainly nice to have, we don't exactly need top 5 talent at the position.

Swear everybody has a 1st round price tag attached to them

Shouldn't we be able to get Drake London in the 2nd round? He's as big as DK right?

I'm staring to warm up to the idea of having bigger WR's in general. Draft Drake London and make a run at Allen Robinson. Add DPJ to the mix and that's probably the biggest WR room in the league. Mixed in with our TE's we have some huge pass catchers now. Schwartz and Landry in the slot and as deep threats are a nice change of pace.

Just a rumor and may not be true but I think it's fun to speculate about:

Cooper and Ridley makes sense, and perhaps Metcalf if the Seahawks move on from Russ. WRs are a dime a dozen and there will be plenty available this offseason, hope we're able to come away with some good talent without destroying the cap.
Some great names for baker and stefanski not get the ball to.

The Giants ownership group is known for being pretty conservative, so I would be very surprised if they were willing to take on a guy with the character risks that Watson brings. Flores may end up in New York, but, even if he does, I wouldn’t expect Watson to end up there
Really? I would have guessed it makes them more likely to look the other way. Think of how much money he'll make them!

That’s just tough.

“Talk shit, get hit” just doesn’t apply to men on women for me.

Gotta be the bigger person and just walk away, which Hunt had the opportunity to do and chose not to.
Gotta disagree with you here. Nobody should be hitting anyone. And if they do, they should expect the person they hit to defend themselves, regardless of any difference in size, age, etc.

Now I'm not saying getting slapped by a 100 pound woman justifies a 300 pound man knocking her head off. That is not a measured or reasonable response, and it's not self defense at that point. But that woman is not a victim the second she hits the man, just because she is a woman and is smaller.

I've been a victim of domestic abuse by my ex, and just because I'm bigger than she is and it didn't cause me any serious injury, doesn't mean it didn't hurt.

I hear former pro-bowler OBJ is going to be a free agent.

As the old saying goes, two wrongs don't make a right.

You literally said "nobody should be hitting anyone" in one breath and then said if someone does hit someone else, they should expect to get to get hit back in the very next breath. That just doesn't make sense.

If a woman puts her hands on a man in a violent way, she deserves to be punished for her actions by the appropriate measures - arrest, assault/battery charges, etc.

She does not deserve to be struck back by the man. It's just not an acceptable response. The only scenario where it's viable is if man's only recourse is self defense in a potential life-threatening situation.

If you could get Metcalf then you get him. You will not find a WR of his caliber on the trade market often.

What is the backstory behind two insanely good players (Cooper and Metcalf) being likely to get traded? Like what?

Cooper is definitely an upgrade on what we have but he’s an elite WR2/Low End WR 1, currently.

Metcalf, no idea on why he would be available.

DK is in the final year of his rookie deal, and Sportrac has his contract extension estimated at four years $70.7M ($17.6M?year). It would likely be higher as a UFA contract, but that's more of me guessing.

Surprised me. I looked at his stats, he seemed underutilized this year. Was he doubled most of the time?
