i dont like this chart....

It shows the ravens have a lot more draft capitol than the browns. Yet the ravens only have an additional 4th and 6th more than the browns. a 4th and a 6th shouldnt have that much impact

edit: i guess technically this chart doesnt say 2022 draft capital, so maybe the ravens have a lot of other extra picks

I am guessing that chart is trying to estimate compensatory picks.

The Ravens will get a 3rd for David Culley being the Texans HC and 2 extra 3rd/4th for Judon and Ngouke

LOL

Tannehill is the QB of the top seed in the AFC and the all pro RB was hurt half the year and he still pulled through.

Tenn isnt trading Tannehill and if they do, we arent bringing him in to be a backup.

Hilarious

The guy isn't saying to go get Tannehill - he's saying the Browns should do what the Titans did when they had Mariota as their floundering starting QB, and went and got Tannehill from the Dolphins as an insurance policy against Mariota continuing to suck.

Garrapolo is the only guy that fits the profile. Though I don't think he's likely to do what Tannehilll did. Then again, I wouldn't have thought Tannehill would have done what he did when the Titans originally got him.

It is outlandishly unlikely a QB who lead his team to the playoffs this season will willingly come back as a Browns backup to Baker.

This should be the baseline when tossing out potential roster options. Teams that had success with their QBs are not about to let them walk without a major overpay.

Running it back makes too much sense for such teams and swapping QBs in the offswason would cause an uproar within said fanbase if their next option was unsuccessful.

Well they would've been at #10 had they lost, so
I enjoyed the win, as meaningless as it was, but interesting to think what could have happened if we were at #10.

I bet Berry could have gotten a haul from a team wanting to move up and grab their QB and we still could have drafted a productive WR.

Another interview for Cook. Sounds like Kwesi might get a look from Minnesota as well.

So we essentially got our O Cordinator from the Vikings then they get one of our VPs if he gets the job lol

Andre Patterson seems like a natural replacement.

Worked on the same staff as Stefanski in Minnesota for 5 years. As much experience as you're ever going to find as a defensive line coach, including a 2-year stint in Cleveland under Butch Davis.

Don't say he's the backup. Make them fight it out preseason and play the better QB.

its irrelevant what you call him, you can call him the Grand Poobah QB and Administer of Pain, the fact of the matter is no playoff QB is going to come here unless they are going to be the unquestioned starter for this team. Futhermore the cost to get one of those guys on board is going to be 30+ million, which means you are spending 50+ million next year in cap space on the QB position.

This is right.

Obviously if the Browns acquire a veteran QB via trade, they’re bringing that person in to be the starter and Baker would be traded away.

There’s also no reason to trade for a back up quarterback when there’s gonna be six or seven guys who have starting experience available to sign in free agency.
