Wonder if Ragland will also pass Deion Jones on the LB depth chart

Not like the Browns gave up anything of value so it's hard to call it a bad trade. But that trade did nothing for us.

No way. He’s one dimensional. I think he just replaces taki

Which NFL team is the most analytically advanced?

Voting for your own team was permitted for these first three questions.

1. Cleveland Browns (10)
2. Baltimore Ravens (4)
3. Philadelphia Eagles (3)
T-4. Atlanta Falcons (1)
T-4. Buffalo Bills (1)
T-4. Houston Texans (1)
T-4. Minnesota Vikings (1)

Which team produces the highest level of analytics work?

1. Cleveland Browns (7)
2. Baltimore Ravens (4)
3. Philadelphia Eagles (3)
T-4. Atlanta Falcons (1)
T-4. Buffalo Bills (1)
T-4. Dallas Cowboys (1)
T-4. Houston Texans (1)
T-4. Jacksonville Jaguars (1)
T-4. Los Angeles Rams (1)
T-4. Miami Dolphins (1)

Which team most incorporates analytics into its decision-making?

1. Cleveland Browns (9)
2. Philadelphia Eagles (3)
T-3. Baltimore Ravens (2)
T-3. Indianapolis Colts (2)
T-5. Arizona Cardinals (1)
T-5. Atlanta Falcons (1)
T-5. Buffalo Bills (1)
T-5. Los Angeles Chargers (1)
T-5. Minnesota Vikings (1)

The Browns swept the three categories again. The most analytically advanced question is framed as a combination of the other two: the level of analytics work a team produces and how well it integrates its quantitative analysis into the team's decision-making.
I just love the irony of analyzing which team is the most analytical, LMAO

"Tony, we paid the man 230 million dollars. Don't be a dumbass."

One has nothing to do with the other.

We did pay Watson 230 million.

Tony Grossi is a dumbass.

Both are true, but are true independent of each other.

Remember, for TJ Watt, it's just one person saying it. One person throwing out one name shouldn't skew your thoughts on a player.

One of the reasons safety is so hard to evaluate quantitatively is that when they are successful, nothing happens. If they make the right read and cover the right route, the pass goes elsewhere. Things like that are hard to quantify.

At least defensively, safety might be the position that is most influenced by scheme in college and pros. Safety requires great instincts and an ability to read the field like a QB.

Similarly, it makes a massive difference in how they complement one another and the rest of the secondary if you’re playing schemes with two safeties. For example, if your CBs are great in coverage but poor tacklers, you’re likely going to need one safety that has great range and is a good tackler.

I know I’ve brought his name up several times in the past, but that’s one reason I loved Jaquan Brisker in the draft last year. He was that smart, physical type of safety we lack in our secondary.

The Browns OL sucks now at the wrong time. Pocic out and Teller hurt both an issue. Wills better play better than that dogshit we saw in Houston.
Bengals have Chase back. So it’s on and I expect a 34-31 Browns victory punctuated by a 3 yard Njoku TD catch and including a 4.5 yard Watson touchdown run and we are due for some Chubb house music so a 53 yard rushing TD by him as well.

Four bullets dodged by this FO in the off-season: Baker Mayfield, Matt Ryan, Russell Wilson, and Derek Carr.

If Watson only plays a fraction of his standard self, he's still a better QB than all four of them.

Alright, after last night's loss to Baker and his Bros LV playoff hopes are close do being done. Who are we pulling for this weekend?

PIT to beat BAL
BUF to beat NYJ
LAC to beat MIA
ARZ to beat NE

If we beat CIN and those other games break that way then we'll be tied with NE and PIT at #9, #10, and #11. We would be 1 game behind LAC and NYJ.

All except Dolphins/Chargers. Miami is already 8-4 and the odds of them finishing 1-4 for the Browns to finish ahead of them (they have the tiebreaker) are pretty low.

Want the Chargers to lose that one.
