This extends to the fans......

And even on this board its an unfortunately high percentage

Edit then i see the rest of the thread proving my point. Sigh

This strikes true so hard.

I know lots of fans who are endlessly negative about the Browns. My uncle is one. He trashes the team week in and out and laughs at their failures - but he’s certainly still watching every single game.

It’s a coping mechanism. They’re unable to handle disappointment so they stubbornly cling to unalterable pessimism. It gets to the point that they would rather delight in vindication than risk getting excited for a team that could let them down. It’s pretty sad, IMO.

I see a lot of that with Indians fans too. I don't mind poking fun at my teams from time to time, but it's interesting how pessimistic some fans are. I dunno, that just doesn't seem fun.

One area I have not seen much is WR screens. I’ve seen very few to Hunt and once to Hopper but I think we should get OBJ or Hunt more to utilize their speed and opportunities with after the catch.

How is Fitzpatrick even an option? Miami *just* named Tua the starter after their bye week, but don't have anyone to play behind him if Tua gets hurt. Did they waive Fitzpatrick?
