People forget that Higgins was the most productive WR in CFB when he was drafted.

Also the reason why he and Baker have such good chemistry is during Baker’s first training camp they were both second string. They built a lot of chemistry during that first training camp.

Next week is real, real big for the playoff hopes.

They beat Oakland, a direct playoff competitor, then the Browns have a GREAT shot at making the playoffs this year. Lose and...things could get real tight.

Also being 6-2 headed into a bye would be huge

Also sets the Browns up with an outside shot of being competitive in the North.

Obviously I don't think they are going to be winning the AFC North but maybe?

Beating LV (will be Oakland to me for a long, long time) will set them up well for their next two games against Houston and Philly too.

Especially if they get Hooper, Chubb and Teller back.

And PIT and BAL play each other next week. So if we win on Sunday we’re guaranteed to pickup a game on one of them in the standings.

Landry and OBJ have both been really good leaders for this offense (more Landry).

I mentioned this in the Stefanski thread, but I love the culture I'm seeing in this organization. From top-down, there's something special going on. Even aside from the big names like Berry and Stefanski, I'm seeing player-first leadership out of people like Brownstein that is not going unnoticed among the players.

Chubb, OBJ, Landry, Bitonio and Garrett appear to be the core leadership group of this team right now, and I'm digging it.

I don’t know if I’d put Chubb in that list...incredibly talented guy but he seems like somebody who just keeps to himself more than trying to be a leader.

Footballoutsiders has our projected wins up to 9.4 from 8.8 before the game, based not just on the non-100% chance we were going to win yesterday but also on how we won on the road and how it projects to future games.

Our playoff odds are up to 63.5% from 45%, due not just to that but also how bad the Raiders looked against the Brady Bunch yesterday.

So I’m guessing Chubb won’t be ready for next week? Probably after the bye right?

I've heard several other players on Building the Browns mention that Chubb's leadership is the by example type. He's a tremendously hard worker who only cares about football.

You don't always need to be vocal to be a leader.
