Playing it like a pre season game simply does not make much sense at all in the scheme of things. You’re doing exactly the opposite of the point of resting guys which is risking injury to them.

I actually dont disagree as applies to stars. But I remember that specific instance and holding out hope Peyton would stay in longer. Alas, he did not. And Curtis Painter did not keep the Browns playoff hopes alive.

Obviously it doesn't mean anything to the players, but I do agree that it seems the Browns and CLE fans get way more into the rivalry hype than the Steelers. To Pittsburgh the Browns are just another game. There's never any extra hype.
