I’ll take a go at it: I thought frontpage was making a joke to which doublethreat responded and made a comment about linebackers; someone disputed this in some fashion and doublethreat told them they were incorrect without further explanation.

pretty sure tip offered a rebuttal and nothing has been said since. That’s all I can offer.

anyway, where is Football Team ranking as far as pressures/hurries are concerned at this point? This is a really compelling matchup within that specific facet.

The fuck you smokin' on over there bud

The Ravens embarrassing Houston makes the Browns loss more reasonable

Yep. Ravens haven’t lost a regular season game since we beat them in Baltimore last year. And we had a new staff with a COVID offseason.

I think we should just erase that game from our memory and judge our team based on Week 2-17.

Watched our next opponent today.

It’s not going to be fun, at all, to run. But if you can get to the second level, I’m almost certain you’ll break huge runs. The safety’s were terrible.

Offensively, double a Touchdown Terry, and that’sit. Dwayne is absolutely awful. Comical bad, really- if he has to move off his drop back, he’s done for.

I caught a little bit to gauge their pass rush but it was kind of moot since the ends played so much contain with Murray — whom I must say looked pretty dangerous today.

I watched most of that game myself. Dwayne is indeed bad. He's the type of QB that can make our defense look good.

I think that d-line will struggle a bit more against the wide zone run-blocking scheme compared to the Cardinals running with Drake out of the shotgun formation all the time. Unless you're caught off guard it's very easy to slow down that kind of rushing attack (unless you're the Browns vs. Ray Rice of course). We put up 24 points and have no more than 1 turnover and I think we win vs. the Football Team.

Just throwing it out there... I think Teller's a stud. The things he's doing are sustainable, and you can see the ability that's causing the results--not just seeing results and blindly hyping him. I don't think it's just two games and he'll fall back to earth.

The prisoner of the moment reaction is to say he looks better than Bitonio out there, who's one of the best guards in the league. I think that would be a hot take that's likely to come down to earth over the course of the season, but damn... Teller has been the most pleasant surprise for me so far.

I agree. I looked up his draft profile because I was curious, and it focused on his tremendous strength but said he would be great in a gap -- rather than zone -- blocking scheme. His footwork isn't fantastic, but he seems to compensate with exceptional awareness. Has to be some natural ability, but you also have to think it is some of Bill Callahan's influence as well.

He showed pretty consistent improvement last year. This year, we heard a lot of good things about him during training camp, though it was just training camp so you take that with a grain of salt. But then he was by far our highest PFF graded OL against the Ravens, and second-highest against the Bengals.

So I think you're right -- he's going to be really good. Though he was technically a trade (5th and 6th round pick), it's great that we're showing the ability to develop successfully a lower round OL.

So basically, the same as he was in college.

Sounds like he is very coachable. He actually was recruited by VT to play defense but had to transition to T and then G due to need where he became the starter. He seems to be built like a tank, has a mean streak, and is incredibly strong. Callahan could really do wonders for him.

Haskins gonna be food for our D Line. Ward should be able to handle Terry solo. Chubb and Hunt gonna wear their defense down. They can't run with OBJ and they can't cover our TE's. There's no excuse for a letdown on Sunday. Sunday is actually just as big of a game as Thursday was. It's a real chance to show that we're a team that can take a next step and move into that next tier of teams.

Ability has definitely never been the question with Ward. Durability, on the other hand, would be the issue.

I just hope he can stay healthy. He has the skills to become the best corner in the league as long as he remains healthy. I would guess with the current state of our secondary we'll be running some combo coverages where Ward is always in man and everyone else in zone.
