Cleveland Browns 2020 Regular Season: What a Ride!

Hey, guys; been lurking for quite a while.

I agree that this could be another game in the trending upwards category.

While our D has looked sieve-like on the back end, I am cautiously optimistic that getting K Johnson, Mack Wilson, and Vernon back will help a ton. What I am really hoping for, is that S Ronnie Harrison can contribute legitimately soon.

Regardless of the DC, it seems as if the Browns are easy prey for opposing teams' TEs.

I am still giddy that we wound up with Jordan Elliott and Harrison Bryant in the draft. I've seen Bryant play a few times in person-loved him, but never thought the Browns would sniff that direction so early in the draft.

Joe Woods scheme asks a lot of different skills of Harrison that Gus Bradley's Cover 3 never asked of him.

Jalen Ramsey recently gave the Jacksonville coaches a harsh criticism saying "We did the same thing every game." Woods isn't known for a lot of elaborate blitz packages, but he is known for asking his safeties to switch up zone schemes from play to play.

I do think Harrison has it in him to adapt. Nick Saban is one of the best defensive back coaches in football. Harrison just has to tap into some concepts he hasn't used in a long time.

Well, if I could pick 3 of the 6 to return, those are the 3 I'd pick. Need a lot more help in the back 7 than the front 4.

No mention of Conklin, though. Maybe Ruiter hasn't seen the offense come out yet. He should be good to go, though. He apparently was cleared for the last game but kept out as a precaution. Ten more days should be enough.

Browns are really going all in on the "win in the trenches" mindset -- clear desire to built elite DL and OL.
I think the depth on both lines is so important. We survived two defensive line injuries and one offensive line injury against the Bengals. This is stuff that really matters for successful teams.

How much do you think Ogunjubi will get next year once his rookie contract ends?
