I was a big fan of Kinlaw leading up to the draft because he is built like The Incredible Hulk. After watching him for two weeks, all he can do is plug up the middle and stop the run. He has no pass rush moves at all. Elliott may not win the eye test, but I agree he has been a better defensive tackle so far. Great value pick for the third round.

I think the current view of Greedy is a bit influenced by pre-draft slotting about where he "should" go, and the belief that we got a steal when he fell. Last year, his play looked like he lacked focus/intensity. More of a "physical gifts" guy than a guy with natural football instincts. I'm obviously not a scout or anything, so it's just eyeballing. I just don't see a great corner of the future when I see him play.

I see potential, but I see what you see too to a degree. He didn't play up to his skill level, but he was a rookie. Typically at corner only the truly elite corners play at a high level as rookies. I don't see Greedy as elite, but we have Ward for that, but I do think Greedy has the potential to be a good quality starter in the league. He flashed the potential allot last year. More consistency is what he needs while Mitchell is the model of consistency at the corner, but he can get over matched some.

We need to account for Greedy’s misuse last year the same way we accounted for Ward’s. Greedy was a guy that was notably better in man in college and he wasn’t put in that position as much as he should have last season.

joe Woods is basically the reset button for him. I’ll feel more comfortable diagnosing his status as a player once we see him adapted and healthy in this system for a season.

He was also a rookie lol

Haha... I see the quote is by who I was going to suggest...
...can we bring in a 45 year old Phil Dawson?
He may not be able to do kickoffs out of the end zone... but he is probably still just as good at 50yds and in as anyone else we've had thru the revolving door of kickers since he left!

Remember when people were afraid of wasting cap space on Phil Dawson?

Whoever these people were. I cannot be friends with them.
Phil Dawson could make a 50 yard field goal in the snow, while directing Gary Barnidge how to resolve that one plumbing issue that was vexing him and his bare hands.
