There's a lot that can be inferred from this, but I like to look at it as the difference in coaching. Freddie as the coach and the Browns are 1-6 as well. Also, when we lose, WE LOSE!

When asked how his role without Odell Beckham (torn ACL) will change, Browns WR Rashard Higgins responded that he's "in the starting lineup now."
Higgins always had the advantage over rookie Donovan Peoples-Jones and KhaDarel Hodge since the former has played both out wide (81 snaps the last three games) and from the slot (36) since returning from injury. With 11 targets and 10/154/2 receiving since Week 5 (and a rapport from Baker Mayfield that dates all the way back to 2018), Higgins is in line to emerge in any contests Mayfield keeps it together under pressure. Higgins has a legitimate shot at out-producing Jarvis Landry for the rest of the season.

At the very least, we'll learn more about out QB and about those young WR's. Too bad we don't yet have Teller and Chubb, though. Hunts a very good back, but he isn't Chubb. And Teller gives us some gap-blocking options that Hubbard really doesn't.

If it makes you feel any better, the Raiders defense is giving up 400 yards per game (26th), 32.8ppg (31st), and only has 3 INTs and 7 sacks on the year so far. Their pass rush is non-existent and they may very well have the worst pass rush in the league.

Of course, it would be a Browns thing for us to allow their defense to generate turnovers. Whether or not Carl Nassib has a big day will determine if we've grown from the Brownsy things of the past. :chuckle:

we have 9 turnovers in 7 games, really not that bad, tied for 19th but allot of the teams ahead of us have played only 6 games. PS, GB has only 2 turnovers, wow.

I know there were legitimate and justifiable concerns before the season that Stefanski was going to bring some of not so great elements of the 2019 Vikings to Cleveland, specifically their penchant for running the football on 2nd and long.

Fortunately for us, the evidence points to that being a Mike Zimmer mandate above all else.

Potential bet Sunday v raiders, how we stack up?
