In this thread, I'm going to share with you a plan that would catapult this team into perennial contenders. I'm not sure if this is realistic at all but bear with me. I think these moves would greatly improve our chances at a ring, & maybe even turn into a dynasty.

TRADE #1
Cleveland gets: Luka Doncic, Tim Hardaway Jr., Davis Bertans & Josh Green
Dallas gets: Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley & Jarrett Allen

Why?
Cleveland gets the best player in the NBA. He's wasting his best years in a dysfunctional organization. The other players we receive are there for salary purposes but aren't completely useless.
Dallas decides to trade Doncic & this is the best offer they get.

TRADE #2
Cleveland gets: R.J. Barrett, Julius Randle & Evan Fournier
New York gets: Kevin Love, Caris LeVert & Cedi Osman

Why?
For Cleveland, this trade is a huge gamble, but there is a ton of upside. R.J. has shown flashes of being a good all-around player. Randle played like a superstar just a couple of seasons ago. Maybe a change of scenery is what they need.
New York decides to hit the reset button & tank for Victor, which means trading their vets in order to give young players like Obi Toppin more playing time.

TRADE #3
Cleveland gets: Bol Bol & R.J. Hampton
Orlando gets: Isaac Okoro

Why?
Cleveland would need a center, & Bol Bol will quickly become a fan favorite.
Orlando has a logjam in their front court. Okoro is a former top 5 pick so that might have some appeal.

COACHING CHANGE
I would hire Terry Stotts to replace J.B. Bickerstaff.

PG: Luka Doncic / Ricky Rubio / R.J. Hampton / Raul Neto
SG: Josh Green / Tim Hardaway Jr. / Evan Fournier
SF: R.J. Barrett / Lamar Stevens / Dylan Windler
PF: Julius Randle / Dean Wade / Davis Bertans
C: Bol Bol / Robin Lopez
Coach: Terry Stotts

I'll have what you are smoking please. lol

Not to Wade into this too deeply, but I don't see Orlando touching that Okoro for Anyone useful offer. They could do far better. Cavs lost their chance to fix the SG position when Bol was being tossed around last year.

I don't know what I was thinking. There's so much wrong with this "plan".

By trading our four stars, we'd be in a similar situation to Dallas. No real quality players next to Luka.

If we for some reason pull off the first trade, there's no guarantee the Knicks accept the second trade.

Mods, you can lock this if you want. There's no real discussion to be had here.

So we trade the six guys with the most value on the team, get zero picks back, take on a shit load of money, and somehow wind up worse? This is quite impressive :chuckle:

So you just miss the part where Cuban trades Luka for anyone. Luka is untouchable without demanding a trade, and Luka is not demanding a trade.

Sure the rest of the post is garbage, but no need to read past that.
