Cleveland Charge: Featuring iMobley and eBates

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Meanwhile Windler did not play? Unless he is hurt again, he should have been playing as much live game as he can...

This guy looks better than Windler. Bring him up.

I figured your post needed a pic.

They're really scraping the bottom of the barrel for shooting.

This is what the G-League is for. Cavs have done a pretty good job with it historically. Glad to see this continue

If he is at least an "Up and Up" brand Luke Kennard in NBA proper, then good. Throw him in there with Ricky and see what happens

JBB won’t play him. If he does, it will be the last minute of a 30 point blowout just after he takes the starters out. Just my 2 Pennie’s worth.

I'm hoping the kid gets some burn against the Pistons, let him build his professional resume and wear the Junkyard Dog chain for a day.

Me too. We need ANYONE to hit an open 3 with regularity. We all definitely get on JBB for his coaching deficiencies and decisions but to be honest, are we having that conversation at all if a professional basketball players, who plays a game for good money, hits their open 3’s at 40%? Opening up the middle just a little changes everything. We sink or swim based on our 3 point makes, regardless of JBB’s decisions. OK, now that’s 4 cents worth today, I’m broke. LOL!!

I caught my first Charge game last night. It was great fun to watch them take on Long Island, who have the league's best record. I was surprised to see Diakite, Merrill, and Windler all play big minutes after playing some the previous night against the Wiz. They were pretty clearly the best players on the court. Diakite had a bunch of impressive blocks, Merrill has a quick trigger, beautiful form, and a floor game that surprised me. Windler looked smart and athletic, playing well in all phases. Open on a lot of backcuts and draining crucial threes that iced a close game. Brobley was less impressive. He's a good athlete, but I don't know if he'll ever be skilled enough for the NBA. His brother was there and watched him get ejected for a pair of technicals. The first came after he was fouled while controlling a rebound, then threw a vicious Kareem-esque elbow that decked a Net. The second T came for taunting the Net bench after hitting a second half three pointer. He's got the physicality, for sure.
All in all, a lotta fun to watch some good basketball courtside for twenty bucks. Even if sometimes it resembled a youth league game with the ball and players rolling on the floor and a hectic up and down pace.

Uh... Sounds like the perfect Unmarshmallow for this team. Dude can be his brothers avenging angel.

Drafting "Brobley" was a favor to the Mobley's. Just a little nugget come contract time.
