My great aunt worked for NASA because of NASA Glenn. She eventually transferred to Southern California area - it was hard to be a lesbian in Cleveland back in the 50s and 60s. John Glenn always made sure Cleveland was a part of the space program even if nicer weather areas held the launches. Glad this tradition continues.
