We hit a rapid spike in demand for downtown living that we weren't ready to accommodate.Overall what is the outlook for the next 5 to 10 years in terms of growth in the city?
95% of apartments are rented out. Beacon already 85% leased with the Lumen being completed soon. Playhouse might be doing a second Lumen if the first leases fast. They have more property to develop. Terminal Tower is being remodeled for apartments. We hit a rapid spike in demand for downtown living that we weren't ready to accommodate.
That housing is now being completed. Let's hope the demand is still there, and that we didn't miss the boat.
The amenities spiked too early. Lots of them are closing down now. Let's hope that new amenities fill the spaces and continue the demand for downtown living.
It's a precarious situation. I think it will turn out positively, but there's a chance we missed our window and the city is really going to suffer.
Good luck to getting people into Canton Ohio in general. When I hear resort I think of weekend getaway. When I think of current HOF it is a day trip at best. Good luck to them especially with lack of space that way too.

They should call it Planet Oasis North.
Level it. Combine it w terminal D and make a private airport. Eliminate Burke and make real use of the land.IX Center closed permanently today. No new info so far, if the plan is to demolish it out repurpose it. This is after the IX Center got, I believe, a sizeable Chunk of money to turn into a field hospital. The City of Cleveland has wanted this for years, both to build them boost a downtown convention center and to extend the runway at Hopkins. Wonder if that is what happens now.
This can't be stated enough. Come to the NFL Disneyland. Get shot at for free!
