I am all for joking, but ketchup on steak is not something we should lightly joke about.

Next thing someone will say that they like there steaks well done.

If that's how you feel, just go back to where you came from.

Ketchup on steaks is something kids & rednecks enjoy. Kids cause they don’t know any better and rednecks ‘cause they just don’t care what you think. I don’t eat a lot of red meat anymore, but I do love the occasional tender steak, preferably marinated or au jus.

Au Jus? That's what I make all the ladies say if you know what I mean.

And au jus is fantastic on my favorite, prime rib.

Ketchup on steak is blasphemy but equally blasphemous are "purists" who insist that steak should never have any type of sauce.

Now I don't usually sauce my steaks when I grill at home but I have made some killer sauces and have eaten killer sauces in restaurants. A good steak with great beefy flavor is just fine on it's own, but at the same time a great beefy flavor all the more stands up to a good sauce.

Especially something like a filet that isn't super huge on favor. Shit just a simple pan jus is great.

Edit, this is all topical because Collin Sexton --> Young Bull

Next time you're in Vegas goto Anthony's at the M casino. They fly in their meat from a ranch in Montana and fish daily. One of the best steaks I've ever had.

While I'm tempted to twist this topic into making a bangin' board sauce when you cook a steak, Q-Tip is right. This is the Collin Sexton thread.

Typical here, nothing but ascerbic takes when the Cavs make a pick. Look, this is the nature of an NBA draft... You create your own draft board from what you have watched from college basketball or from draft highlights, but do your REALLY know the top 20 guys? When you were watching the actual Cavaliers play four times a week all season up until two weeks ago? At some point, you have to have a little faith in the scouts who were paid to just focus on the lottery all college season.

That's where I am on this. I personally liked Shai Gilgeous-Alexander more but I will also admit that I don't do this for a living, and in my spare time I watch more pro basketball than college ball. Let's see how this goes, because Sexton has a clear set of strengths. Mentally, he might be the strongest guy in this draft.
It's a little frustrating that my opinion on Sexton hasn't changed all that much. I didn't like his height and lack of true point guard skills, because you can build a team around one "little guy" if he is the right little guy... and Sexton didn't feel like that guy. At the end of the year his offense proved to be worthy of NBA minutes, but he isn't the guy you build your offense around. Somewhere down the line, Sexton could settle in as a very good Lou Williams type 6th man.

Luckily, I believe in Darius Garland. Sexton can still have a role, but his defense has to become up to a break even this season to surpass where I see his role settling in. I like his scoring and I like his attitude, but I still wish the Cavs grabbed SGA despite the hemming and hawing from his representatives in the pre-draft process.

If it becomes obvious him and Garland aren’t gonna work together I would do: Sexton for Anunoby + Raptors first (top 5 protected)

*assuming Garland ends up being good, which I think he will
