I don't know what else you could ask of him. He was money with the floater early, throwing darts from three off the pass out, then blowing by guys from 30 to the basket..gave up the ball to guys who had good looks..

I also think the bigs did a nice job passing out and threading fast break passes..
Sexton is going to be a star imo. Like what okoro is showing as well at 19. Plays “older”. We could have 2 out of a big three already. Possibly. Maybe

I like how Sexton attempted nine free throws and made six of them last night...I hope it continues.

They put Okoro on him when he started to get red hot. But it was more of a collective failure imo. Lot of open 3s

He's from Cleveland and usually has games like this at "home". Drummond was the main guy sticking with the screen setter, but why you would guard Biyombo 20 feet from the basket i have no idea. Rozier did the right thing. He was shooting off a single screen and had nothing to lose, so he did it until the stopped him which they never did.

Rozier isn't that good, but you can't let him get hot from 3 like that.

Rozier was making circus shots Kobe would be proud of.. he is not going to be able to sustain that..

Very nice improvements and trajectory from Collin, a "full" seasons worth of reps is going to so him wonders in terms of passing and playing in a ball moving offense.

The one thing I'd like him to improve eventually is defensive IQ, because he can get lost often especially in transition. But that will naturally improve a bit imo if hes focusing on court vision on the offense too.

Gottlieb has done a wonderful job helping the young guys. They always speak very highly of her with their development. I know, she sent the them game tape and interact with them when the season was suspended.

Sexton has come a long way from not being able to shoot to being a three-level scorer. I know,it's one game but I really think Sexton can be a 5 or 6 assists guy this season. It looks like he put alot of emphasis of passing the ball more this season.

He was solid defensively, he still messed up,a few times but he did good.

I think playing with Javale and Okoro helped him. I hope that lineup continues.
Lindsey is really good. Her communication skills are top notch and she has really good chemistry with these young kids. Some of these guys seek her for advice on what they should do and they study tape together.

Guys that can efficiently get you 20+ a night creating their own shots most of the time are hard to find.

Sexton is already that, and is likely to up that number.
Sexton is a stud now and keeps working hard and improves. Great pick at #8. Plus him matching with okoro is awesome

Collin had a great game: hit the open man on the wings, took the right shots by and large, better reads on defense than last time we saw him.

Still needs to be willing to feed the post (AD was visibly frustrated at least 3 times I saw). He likes the pass to the wing but not the post.

The stretch so far since last years games have all been trending up on Sexton's play and court awareness. Look foreward to seeing what he does tonight.

Yeah, I didn't see him forcing any bad shots or dribbling for large amounts of time. 27 points on 16 shots is pretty efficient and he tossed in five assists with only 2 turnovers in 37 minutes. That's an All-Star performance. Not to mention he was coming off a sprained ankle and missed the last three pre-season games plus who knows how many practices. I didn't expect him to be this good right out of the gate.
