You said it. Durant is like LeBron in that he can cover up a lot of team weaknesses. They’ll figure it out and be a top 2 team in the East just because of him.I'll believe it when I see it. But they're very thin depth wise, they have awful bigs, their playmakers dribble the air out of the ball and they pass to get assists, not to create good offensive motion. Durant is obviously still an MVP level player probably, and that makes them competitive automatically...but they have some glaring flaws that I doubt buyout guys will solve.
The bigger elephant in the room is that they seem to be a better team without Kyrie. It’s just a redundant fit having Kyrie and Harden on the floor at the same time.
