I'd say you're overthinking this. The Decision was incredibly ill-advised and self-indulgent, but it wasn't a purposeful shot at Cleveland. He even complimented Cleveland during the show.

I'm curious though, why do you think he's an awful person?

I cannot and will not believe “The Decision” wasn’t a planned shot at the city based on the name alone. He’s grew up around here. He isn’t dumb.

Everything he does is done with a complete lack of sincerity. The philanthropic works he highlights are always after negative press, always calculated to improve his image and not simply just to help others.

Respectfully, this just isn't accurate. He does a lot of cool stuff for kids in Akron that people don't even know about.

Disagree. They are always prepared with press and intention to improve his brand. The way he talks about NE Ohio even to this day shows he doesn’t care.

He regularly visits the Boys and Girls Clubs in Akron when he's home and over the summer with no cameras or media coverage. He does the same at his school. He consistently connects with kids at his school to encourage and support them.

Just because you don't personally see it doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

I have been in his corner since forever and essentially adore everything about his being... There’s nothing remotely NOT TO LIKE about LeBron James in any facet of life... The NBA will be a far more enjoyable place with him continued to be plastered everywhere....

I love his game !! This big dick Diet Dr. Pepper, fucktard of awesomeness is one of the best things I’ve seen happen to the NBA since the 3pt line

His extremely misaligned/crooked/crowded books on the shelves for kids he's putting through college is amazing... Who loves the kids more than Bron ?

His horrendousness ratings in the 2012 NBA FINALS on NBA2k? DEVASTATING...Wouldn't hold it against him...

His inability to let us down in big moments ? Extra Guac (no charge)

His MVPs --- chefs kiss..

I think we all agree that we love LeBron and wish nothing but the absolute best for him for the rest of his life— but let’s not forget just how disgustingly annoying everything about non LeBron James players are...
