Is his injury something that would not even allow him to workout? Hoping he could still workout to build some mass and strength while not playing…

Wouldn’t think you’d want to lift upper body with a sprained elbow, but he should be able to do cardio. It’s going to take years to build that skinny frame.

Yup, just don’t want him comeback in SL shape… his conditioning/shape was pretty rough back then…

Does anyone have the medics details on the Mobley injury? What ligaments/tendons did he stretch, and was there partial tearing, or just stretching? Does “no structural damage” mean no tearing and no surgery required? Is he just supposed to rest it, or is there rehab that he can do? How do you unstretch a ligament, other than by resting it?

TIA,

KT

I think people really underestimate how much of the share of our defensive success is attributed to Mobley……and how the remaining success is attributed to Allen. It’s going to be really tough without Mobley. Without both? We are going to lose by 20-30.

Our only goal, until Mobley is back, is to stay close enough to the play in pool that we can play our way back in to it. Anything within a few games of .500 would be success to me.

Yea I mean just watching the close to last game and the defense was atrocious.

Suddenly, w/o either Allen or Mobley behind them, the defensive weaknesses of Garland and Osman became glaring again.

Hit the nail on the head. Stay competitive, try to steal a few games, try to stay as close to .500 ball as we can, and make a push when we’re healthier and the schedule let’s up.

People throwing in the towel on this season are our standard post-loss alarmists.

winning when we have all our guys but still getting a lottery pick because we lose when our best players are out is not a terrible outcome for this season
