The Browns send a press release that primarily focus on their high value of draft picks.

NFL insiders unilaterally talk of the Browns targeting Garoppolo in a trade.

It's either public negotiations with NFL press doing their jobs or two GMs being completely honest with some truly bored journalists collecting click bait checks.

He only has 1 year left until he hits free agency.
With the Glennon signing, I think SF is the only other team that the Pats would trade Garoppolo to(No way they trade him to the Jets).
