My dad had a stroke at age 56. Never recovered well enough to return to work. He quit smoking and drinking that day. He lived to 67. Hope Dan gets the best care and recovers well. Its rough on the family.

Yeah this much worse than initially thought, they actually went in and got the clot so it was significant, hopefully the quick action prevented long term effects

Never got why some people hated him so much... He is not a saint and can be difficult to deal with but he is a self made billionaire and is trying to revive a couple of cities in Cleveland and Detroit... I also read that he and his wife pledged half of their fortune to charity...

Critically important that strokes are treated immediately. In this case it appears the doc were right on top of it.

Sometimes patients can recover 100% from a stroke. Hopefully Dan will be OK.
