The narrative changed from Griffin wanted more money and control thus Dan let him walk to Griffin unwilling to stay for any amount of money? IMO it’s veiled shots at LeBron coupled with direct shots at organizational leadership. Pretty telling article and risky considering Griffin hasn’t done s*** in New Orleans.
Griffin even questioned LeBron’s drive to win after the 2016 Championship. Ironic considering he was the one looking to leave right after along with Kyrie. I respected Griffin despite disagreeing with a few of his moves but this is a bizarre take.

This sounds like lebron, and the perfect example are the lakers, because lebron goes there and all the younger players are shipped off. This comes from having diva players, and Griff should be praying that Zion doesn't become one
I actually think Griff isn't doing things much different from his days with the Cavs. He is actually setting Zion up to be a diva like LeBron. He has basically brought in all these player to fit around Zion without Zion ever playing a real NBA minute. I don't think anything he did this summer was towards building a team organically.
Is it as difficult as being a fighter pilot, though?Griffin talks as much as anyone will allow him. Publicly. Not good.
I also don’t think being an NBA GM is very difficult. Stressful? Sure. Hard? No.
Which doesn't really make any sense at all because LeBron played some of the best basketball of his career during the 2017 and 2018 playoffs. I don't think a guy disinterested in winning could do that. The narrative changed from Griffin wanted more money and control thus Dan let him walk to Griffin unwilling to stay for any amount of money? Its sounds to me like Griffin was the one disinterested in winning. Its sounds like he got tired of the pressure of finding upgrades to keep with Golden State. It's definitely a huge red flag, imo. It's good for him that he already has a job, because if I was an owner I would think long and hard about hiring a guy who collapses on the floor crying because his team just landed the best player in the world and now he has to build a title contender around him. It sounds like he's already trying to walk it back. Its sounds to me like Griffin was the one disinterested in winning. Its sounds like he got tired of the pressure of finding upgrades to keep with Golden State. Which
is probably why he took the GM position on a rebuilding team because there's no pressure or expectations. This is disgusting He's seriously taking shots at an owner and team that brought him success!
