I havent been able to watch full games, but hopefully someone can comment on this. Has Garland been relocating after giving up the ball? I know this is something we talked about last year as a decent fallback if the Nash curl into the paint falters.

I'm tired of him dribbling the clock down on the last possession of a quarter and then jacking up a long, contested, step-back 3-pointer that rarely goes in. The video in the previous post shows that exactly, except he got fouled this time.

They should run a play rather than just have DG dribble around and throw up a low percentage prayer at the buzzer.

Lebron 1.0 vibes. I agree.

Very hard to make judgements with so much discontinuity. People keep saying the bench is bad, but it has been in chaos all year

On Inside the NBA, Barkley said that he worries about the Cavs weak bench. Kenny said "you think it's weak? I disagree."

It all depends if you've seen the Cavs bench at full strength or not, and what game you saw at that.

To me the bench isn't given enough opportunity. You have to play these guys and see who wants to stand out and make the most of opportunity.

The Golden State broadcast team called the Cavs bench "The best in the NBA" several times in the broadcast. They don't normally do that!

Yes, indeed. This was something that made me yell at the screen. He could have easily hit Kevin Love for 3 on the elbow. Instead, it was "Pick and YOLO".

Honest question...Who would some of you prefer on this years team...Garland or 2017 Kyrie? I can't really decide.

That's funny because a Rubio, Love, and LeVert bench core reminds me of the Warriors' Livingston, Barbosa, and David Lee bench units that were always hovering around league best.

I want the assists. Garland for sure. Kyrie would have treated Allen like Thompson
Ya-2017 Kyrie was a beast though. Kyrie and Spida is a pretty potent duo. But ya- Garland is a better passer. However, I do think Kyrie was a little underrated as a distributor & Garland has kinda turned into a volume scorer this year as he is less of a floor general
versus last year...and he is shooting 43ish percent from field. But ya I still take Garland. I just hope we don't forget how good Kyrie was before he went batshit

On this team, this year's Garland. Last year's Garland even more, as he seems like he's been a little not himself thus far this year, maybe growing pains with Mitchell. But Garland the teammate puts him over Kyrie for me, on such a deep team team with a lot of top tier talent. I think the ceiling is higher for this team with Garland there if he can fall into a Steve Nash kind of role where he starts to get his assists higher when the team is clicking.

I wouldn't replace 2017 Kyrie with Garland though - but it would be interesting to see how Lebron would elevate DG.
