Is he injured? I mean he went from looking like one of our best rotation players to one of the worst players... in the entire league.

Doesn't he do this every season? He looks like a legit NBA rotation player for a few games and then a scrub right after that.
Consistency is maybe his biggest issue

Yes, consistency is a big problem for him. Thought he was out of that, but he doesn't look confident.

No surprise if anyone is still rusty. I like his shot and the speed is much faster now.

The lack of wing depth and Love being out doesn't help him either. He has to play the backup PF position since there isn't a better option. He also get the teams best wing defender on him by default if he plays SF. He will be in other teams game planning because he is the team's 4th best scoring option at the moment. He is basically the only wing that teams have to worry about on the Cavs right now which would make it easy to plan for.

I think he doesn’t look consistently good, because he’s not that good. I think BEING GOOD is his biggest problem.

What happened? Looked good confident making good decisions. He spaces out big time

It has to be mental at this point. When he starts missing or makes mistakes he starts pressing extra hard and be all over. When he's calm and in rythm he looks great.

I guess it's difficult to find that balance to be naturally aggressive but calm at the same time, but he needs to figure it out to be a mainstay.

His role is all out of whack thanks to the injuries. In a normal situation with a reasonable compliment of actual NBA players to work with, JB could throttle back doses of Cedi when he is off the rails like he gets.

I am watching him more closely. I am not sure he has chemistry with anybody. He is making his decisions too late. Passes are too late, he gets rid of the ball too late and routinely causes turnovers. I am not sure why because he has shown he can be a smart decision maker in the past especially on closeouts. He is suddenly hesitating a lot.

His help defense is also not great. He over helps and doesn't allow himself enough time to get back to his man.

I don’t remember who it was but somebody on the Grizz was hounding Cedi every time he touched the ball and Cedi simply could not handle it. His handles are awful
