Can we add a 3rd category? Call it spaz and put Cedi in there.

There are just too many games, particularly against top teams where he just tries to play way too fast and tries to do way too much. He needs to calm down.

I think he has some real skills but he just can't seem to play within himself and let the flow of the game come to him. When he doesn't press so much he looks pretty good.
Which is why I would keep cedi for another year and hope the light comes on. His contract is not much of an issue and we are not going to get back much in return

Playing off the bench with Rubio might be the thing that could happen to him to rebuild his value… as long as he goes back to his strength that is slashing/cutting to the basket and moving without the ball… he should stop the iso and jump shooter Cedi mode…

I wonder what the development staff think of his changed jumper. He said in his first couple of interviews he worked on his range and speed getting it up. It didn't work last year. Is it possible it was just a work in progress and he was going to actually be successful. Best case scenario IMO

Really if he can jsut get his % up to the year before he will be fine as backup 3.

Stevens is our only guy to guard big wings I guess

I'm pretty sure there were some stats posted a couple months back. But changing a players shot usually is at least a 2 year task. The first year is all about building the new muscle memory, even if it doesn't get the results wanted immediately. Year 2 is when the results happen.

I think Cedi, Windler, and Stevens all have the potential to help us long term as part of our wing depth but there just a large degree of uncertainty with each one. I would still bring in one more player to hedge the group so we can hope one or two steps up to round out our rotation.

Svi signed to the Raptor yesterday. Denzel Valentine might be the best wing left in free agency but him being almost 28 makes me wonder if it's worth trying as a reclaim project.

I hope Koby is scouting every other team for who might get cut or need to be moved for 15 man roster cuts. I just think we need options at the wing position since our group isn't really that talented.

Valentine might be the single worst player in the NBA. Just absolutely atrocious. You know the Cedi plays where we all scratch our head and think wtf? Valentine makes those look like smart plays.

Here is the list of guys still available. I'm not sure anyone is really worth picking up from it. It's why I'm hoping we luck into someone getting waived when roster cuts happen. Svi was the last guy I actually really wanted.

There is always that slight possibility Cedi will just take a backseat and play in the flow of the offense, like he did in 2018. That version of Cedi is a very useful player since he is a solid passer and could hit the open 3. That version was also not totally useless on D. The problem is a. we have no offensive system rn and b. Cedi likes to hero ball too much. I actually think a restrained version of Cedi, much like healthy Windler, actually does a lot to fix our no wings problem.

TLC is available? He is a straight upgrade on our bench wings.

No one on that list excites me. Little surprised hartenstein hasn’t been signed. I like him. But do not see the need for him for Cavs.

Cedi is the better player easily. That's the thing about these free agents leftover. WIndler is better than them. Cedi is more likely to just play within himself a little more.

I'd look at Justin Jackson, Louis King, Justin James and Sirvydis at the wing and Kyle Guy as the 3rd PG.

Also, it's completely out of left field, and would've made more sense *before* trading Nance, but Wilson Chandler is someone I'd look into at the 3.

I really think you should rethink this one.

Left Eye really screwed up the Browns in the early 1990s, set Andre Rison's shoes on fire... crazy shit. She was the real talent, T-Boz is always battling health issues and Chilli is just the eye candy.

There's so many ways to fix the Cavs, but TLC isn't one of them. Okay, when does this Browns game start?

Some guys that are still relatively young that interest me from that list are:

Stanley Johnson, 25, SF
Justin Jackson, 26, SF
Justin James, 25, SG/SF
Terrance Ferguson, 23, SG
Cassius Stanley, 22, SG
Frank Ntikilina, 23, PG
Dennis Smith, Jr., 24, PF
