Bad wreck at the end. Ryan Newman took a full broadside on the driver door on the last lap. If he is alive its a miracle.

I don’t watch NASCAR, I accidentally turned it on with the final 2 laps. What an extremely scary accident. Made me sick to my stomach seeing the Hamlin celebrate with the severity of that accident. Prayers for Ryan Newman.

It was a very subdued celebration. Once the drivers saw the tape they all showed a lot of concern. Still no word on Newmans condition.

Nothing against Hamlin, he wasn’t aware. But his crew should have made it known.

I doubt everyone knew just how bad it really was till they were cutting Newman outa the car. But it is what it is. Still no word on his condition, thats not a good sign.

Roll cage was crushed as it got hit after the turn. Very serious and it’s in gods hands now.
Terrible to see.

That was a bad wreck, its scary stuff. Glad to hear it's not life threatening but still could be life/career altering. Wishing him the best.
I'm not much of a Nascar fan either but like to catch the big races including Daytona. It's a tradition.
I like the IMSA series though and sports car racing in general anymore. Catch it when I can. May head down to Mid Ohio early May to see IMSA racing. I like cars.

That was the first time I watched any race. I gambled a tad on it so figured I’d tune in. Crazy crash, glad to hear he’s ok but i was convinced you couldn’t survive that. Crazy crazy wreck
