I am low key excited by Wade. I liked what I saw from limited action and he was very good in the Gleague. Seems to have a high IQ, and I don't see why he can't play off the bench for us for years. Can shoot, defend, run like a gazelle and he has great athleticism. I keep thinking about a 5 out lineup with

Wade/Nance
Nance/Cedi
Love
Windler
Garland/Sexton

We have multiple options for that now.

Probably not this year, but at some point we will need an upgrade in talent. I think we our fringe guys are going to be valuable. Cedi, Wade, WIndler etc. There is going to be an opportunity to cash Love in as his contract shortens and one of these guys might help bring back someone younger and talented.

He was a bit lazy rebounding today, waited for it to come to him and gave up an offensive board. But jeez looks like we actually found a decent player via a two way, he’s good at defense

I think he got initiated into what rebounding in the big league looks like. There are big, strong men in this league whose whole job is to get rebounds and it’s a lot more aggressive than practice. It’ll be interesting to see if he can adjust. We’ve seen that he can play D, shoot and pass. If he can be an effective rebounder on top of that, he will be a steal.

I'd say his defensive awareness is better than Love. His shooting seems great

He's been a good rebounder outside of this game. His steals are interesting. Very cool to have a guy like him when you have Nance and Love who always deal with injuries.

There's going to be opportunities for him. They gave Maker more time in pre-season and that worried me, but JB made the right call. He already knew what Wade brought and wanted to see if he was missing anything from Maker.

I'm just really impressed with the way all our "rookies" played. Okoro, Wade, and Windler all played well and none of them really looked like rookies out there. I mean all of them outplayed Lamelo

Pretty high on the scouting staff right now. Even Garland is showing why they liked him

He actually boxes out his man which is rare in today’s game. If all 5 on the floor did that you won’t give up offensive rebounds.

I think we need to bring Mooney back. Could be the perfect tank commander. We can control and lead most games with our starters to build chemistry and some of our bench, and then you can just bring in Mooney with 5 minutes left in the game and he can bring you a huge L even if up by 20.

Why i'm saying this? because I feel like tonight is another win. 2-0 is some real pannack and Mooney is the panacea.
