Denzel Ward

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
@thedarkness2332 why a disagree?

Haden was so fucking unbelievably good for us early in his career? He just couldn’t stay healthy and it ended up making his peak years shorter then they should have been.

Haden was a top 3 corner in the NFL for a good while. Not sure why you’re hammering me for the comment.

Because all of this is based on one season in the NFL and he didn't have any health issues at Ohio State.

I think it's way too early to call that Ward is going to have a shorter prime and say you're getting Haden vibes, who dropped off like a lead balloon in his mid-twenties due to injury.

It entirely depends on how this upcoming season goes.

I'm hardly hammering anyone. I simply disagreed that he's Joe Haden.

Never said he was Joe Haden.

Said that he gives off Haden vibes based on his first season? Is that really such a stretch?

He’s small framed and has been concussed twice.

Maybe he should wear 2 helmets this year.

ITS KELSO TIME!

Ward performing as well as he did and our pass defense still playing poorly signifies why we need more help in our secondary. The other corners were, at best, serviceable starters.

Sounds like we're gonna be playing notably more zone this year.

Ugh.

Steve Wilks playing a ton of zone defense is honestly my biggest fear at the moment. It's just such a waste of Ward (and hopefully Greedy's) talent.

Cardinals fans haven’t spoken well of him, but if I only centralized my opinion of mine around only what they’ve said, it sounds like Gregg Williams all over; beatable scheme, hasn’t evolved or adjusted to talent.

I haven’t looked into him much myself, so I’m reserved. The zone issue is indeed concerning when our best/most talented corners are most effective in man — and he’s seemingly already subscribing to it.
