Denzel Ward vs. Minkah Fitzpatrick


Not that there is a wrong answer here, but if you had to do it all over again, would you take Minkah?

Tough one. Ward has shown #1 lockdown potential but Minkah looks like one of the best playmakers in the league...

I'll stubbornly stick with Ward, hopefully he can continue to stay on the field.

Yeah, I'm guilty of this too. I think the Jets game is an example of a game where it seemed he played horribly, but in retrospect he didn't do that bad. We don't see him when he's playing well but giving up a pass on a critical 3rd down automatically taints our view.

Towards the end of the year he found his rhythm anyway and played lights out.

Ward was one of the five best cornerbacks in the NFL over the last six or so games. Kid is elite. I think it just took him awhile to get zone defense.

Really hope he can stay healthy and play a full season. Would be huge for both him ($$$) and the team.

I do wonder if teams are going to start moving their top receiver to the other side of the field ala what teams have done against Richard Sherman for a decade?

He's right -Ward was just a beast in coverage last night.

It's also really nice to see how involved Mack Wilson has been with the team, even if just on social media. You can really sense that he wants nothing more than to get back on the field and help the team.
