Denzel Ward

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think a comparable contract would be Marlon Humphrey's. He just signed a 5 year, 97 million (66 guaranteed) in October. Humphrey has played 31/32 regular season games the last two years, and has graded higher than Ward (for anyone that cares) by PFF both years.

I'd look to give Ward 17'ish per, but can become 20'ish million based on number of games (or snaps) played. I think that would be fair.

If he refuses then I'd probably give him 20, though I'm not particularly thrilled b/c we want to get more than just 77% of games played for Ward. Other than Baker, he's the remaining player I believe it's absolutely crucial to get extended. I think I'd want to extend him after another year played, though.

Here's a Denzel drawing I did over the weekend. I still don't get why we ditched the stripes on this year's color rush uniforms.

If he was an unrestricted free agent after this year, I might agree. But as it stands, I’d rather he play out next season, prove he can stay healthy, then be offered the big money.
Yup. There is no need for the browns to offer huge money to ward this year. Wait till this time next year to see if he can stay healthy, then make a determination. They only reason I would look to extend Ward this year is if he is willing to take a discount (which is unlikely)

Pretty cool

Cool event.

Anyone planning to be around the events for the Draft?

What would be the best Brewery in/around Cleveland to watch the draft?

Received vax #2 today, planning to get in town myself at some point throughout that weekend.

Honestly masthead brewery is a great spot to watch it... huge venue and a good amount of TVs and will be a good atmosphere downtown

Plus it's the best brewery in town for food and drink, with Noble Beast being the only one who can challenge it (also an EXCELLENT choice).

If you want more party vibes, Market Garden might be the place.

If you want a bit more obscure, Forest City and Hansa House (Haus?) might be up your alley.

I was considering going, but as far as official draft "stuff" , the only thing that looked like it was open to the public was the events at First Energy Stadium. Which, sounded cool and all, but not worth the trip in my opinion. I wanted to be able to watch the draft in person, but it sounds like that may not be possible?

Great Lakes' biergarten would be fun too. They're my choice for top brewery in the city, but their tv situation might not be as ideal as some of the other options.
