I am torn.
On one hand, DRose is another hurdle in Cedi's playing time/development like @PIP said.
But, I feel DRose can contribute in the playoffs. Because there will be games where our shots aren't falling and stuff. Having someone like DRose, who can penetrate the paint at will and get some buckets would be vital as well.
Also, unlike others, I don't think his defense is an issue. If anything, I would say he is probably our 2nd best guard defensively after DWade. Its scary, I know lol.
I know he has been working with Korver to improve his 3 point shooting. We don't need him to shoot above 40% from 3s but even if he can hit above 33%, that would be huge.

People keep saying Rose is the hurdle....I think Korver is the hurdle...
Love the guy, but he and Rose should be matchup players. If we need a guard attacking then play Rose. If we need shooting play Korver.
Again...I think a guy like Cedi should get mins regardless...we need more athleticism, size on the perimeter.

Why choose?
If we run a 10 man rotation, then Wade, Rose, Korver, Green, Frye can be our bench.
And that's seriously one kickass bench!
The ONLY positive we have so far is our depth. If we can get our starters to be a plus unit, then we will finally be on our way.

My opinion hasn't changed. I don't think he's a fit here and I want to use him as salary filler for an upgrade.
The better he looks on the floor, the more appealing he is to someone else.

If we can upgrade him sure but there're nights we suck dick and go through lulls, loke tonight and basically every night recently, and he's the old cliche spark plug.

I just don't view it as sustainable. He hit two threes (incredibly unlikely to happen consistently), knocked down two mid-range jumpers off the bounce (something he can do, but not well enough for it to be a staple of any offense), and he made two contested shots in the paint - one where he got to the rim, and the other a floater through contact.
He's yet to show the ability to pull defenders in and kick out the way Wade does. His defense is... fine.

I thought he looked superb tonight; and for those questioning why Lue didn’t use him in the 4th, he said he was too fatigued.
Rose fits but not with Wade.
When the playoff lights come on Wade will provide more but if Wade is out with his personal matter for awhile, Rose might boost that value enough to be considered an “asset” in a trade.

I think ideal solution is to stagger the mins between them with Wade getting more mins.

He should be starting over IT right now. I really liked his game last night. A little out of control at times but he brings a different element.
If he’s healthy they can use him.
