Deshaun Watson: Please Go Away

@Los216 this is bait. :chuckle: Play this one cool. Don't come in here tripling down on it.
If he ends up being right he deserves his victory lap. I hope he is wrong because I really don't want to see Deshaun in a Browns uniform ever again, let alone take a snap. But what Los was saying a few months back doesn't seem as crazy now.

So, hypothetically... if Deshaun is healthy enough for training camp and drastically outperforms the other QBs, then what?

We all know he should be kicked to the curb, but does Stefanski > Jimmy know that? I'd have to assume Jimmy calling it a "swing and a miss" is clear and definitive but we've seen crazier things with this org.

If Watson is healthy enough for training camp after tearing his achilles twice in four months and undergoing two surgeries, he should probably do the right thing and retire. Then he can figure out how he can donate his body to science for research purposes.

To me it really is as crazy now as it was a few months ago. Literally nothing the team has done from then til now supports the theory Watson will be back.

Never playing another down, and if he does, he'll be the assiest QB we've ever dressed.

Both Cousins and Rodgers looked like ass the first year back after tearing their Achilles, and they only tore it once.

The fact he can throw a ball doesnt mean he is ready to compete and run away from very fast 300lb men.

This is silly talk, be ready by week 5, lol

I wouldnt mind if @Los216 was able to take a victory lap (I love an underdog story and being petty is my favorite pastime that doesn't involve my wife or kids), but Watson being healthy enough to play NFL-level football in the year 2025 is still an absolute far-fetched concept. I won't get into the semantics of each side, but wouldn't being ready *after* week 1 already make his prediction wrong, or did I miss an amendment?

IIRC @Los216 made his week 1 starting prediction before the second injury.

We did have other posters state with absolute certainty that DW4 would never take another snap for the Browns.

Los got piled on pretty severely.

IMHO if DW4 takes at least one snap for the Browns then Los wins.

I tend to agree with your "far fetched" thought BUT this franchise does far fetched most seasons.
