Deshaun Watson: Please Go Away

Watson is just done in football right? Not just the Browns, but the NFL itself. I don’t see how he recovers physically/mentally let alone someone wanting to bring him on.

So I think it could be a sneaky plan to just let Watson workout and be part of the QB room so that he gets that itch to want to play. If he gets that itch, he might request to rework his contract to make it tradable or just give back guaranteed money so they can release him earlier.

If he was just at home, he would most likely just settle in to moving on from football. I think this really gives a small chance that they can move on from him quicker than the dead cap situation currently allows.

2026-27 NFL MVP and Super Bowl MVP... Get Ready!!!

I only have a B.A. from UCLA & a MA from The Ohio State University and yet somehow I believe the Texans outsmarted me...

Befuddled...

Deshaun Watson has no business on an NFL roster any longer... He should literally buy at least one Sally's Beauty franchise and really enhance their product line... Cause he sucks at football...

You can't get rid of him.
I know it is tongue in cheek. But, I was thinking about that the other day. If they just release him now, it is my understanding that they would have 131 mill go onto the cap in 2026 in dead money. If the insurance comes through and they get around 50 mill in credit because of his injury insurance, that would put it at 80 million. That might be doable if the cap goes up at that rate it has been the last few years
