Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Was gonna get it for pc but i'm hearing all kinds of performance problems. Plus, I dont really care for the micro transactions in a single player game.

Performance problems if you must run at max settings. The game will have the dx 12 path soon which will increase performance.

Still my favorite game ever.

Haven't bothered with this series since it got turned to crap in the sequel. I hear HR is good, and maybe it is, but I doubt it touches the original.

Deus Ex is still good for an occasional replay. Pretty amazing, and emphasizes to me the importance of gameplay and story over graphics.

I really like Human Revolution, for the most part. A similar feel, though the boss fights weren't as good. But based on the early word here for Mankind Divided, I'll wait a year or so until it is tweaked and some GOTY versions come out.

I had some massive performance issues at first even though I met the recommended requirements. It would take up to ten seconds to load the menu when I hit escape, which was just unacceptably awful, and while the first mission in Dubai ran fine, parts of Prague were a slideshow at times. However, apparently the recommended requirements are only to play the game on high, not ultra (which seems dumb to me, but whatever). That said, turning off MSAA pretty much fixed the game for me by itself. I still have most other stuff set to Ultra. Now it runs great.

Gonna need a new video card here soon, though. The ole 970 is starting to get some miles on it.
