Diet and Workout Routines

Its the same muscle? But the feeling is in a different location. Yes I get its the same musce but a different part of the muscle is sore.
You're never going to completely isolate one strand of a muscle. There also isn't any benefit to working out one part one day and a connected part the next. Like upper pec vs lower pec is essentially same muscle and it doesn't provide any benefit of working those parts of the muscle in different days.

You get growth from working the muscle as hard as possible and splitting it up rather than hitting it from all angles is counterproductive

I have been doing a 4 day push/pull workout and I'm looking to add one exercise per day and need some suggestions and lifts to add. I also do an ab exercise at the end of each session. I don't have a squat rack and can only bench with dumbbells.

Here's what the current schedule looks like:

Day 1:
Goblet Squats 4x6
Incline Bench 4x6
Overhead Press 4x6
Dips 4x6

Day 2:
Front Squat 3x6
Rows 3x12
Face Pull 3x12
Bent Over Lat Raises 3x12

Day 3:
Landmine Press 3x12
Reverse Lunge 3x12
Decline Pushup 3xAMRAP
Tricep Pushdown 3x12

Day 4:
Pull up 4x6
Romanian Deadlift 4x6
Seated Cable Row 4x6
Supported Chest Rows 3x6

I appreciate any suggestions!

I'm saying by hitting the same muscle group 2-3 times a week with the same exercises I am hitting different parts of the muscle because one part of the muscle is weaker so the less sore part is picking up the load.

You're overcomplicating this.

Chest, legs, bicep triceps back shoulders twice a week. Choose 2 of those muscle groups and make that a day.

I'm doing it good. I've never felt soreness in this part of my muscle.

You should post about it on a bodybuilding forum

You are not doing it good. My muscles never get sore. It doesn't mean anything.

Eh whatever fuck up your body fam, it's yours. Just remember that we had this conversation

Ok thx

How am I not doing it good if I'm getting results, experiencing soreness in parts of the muscle I've never experienced and etc?

I disagree that sore muscles don't mean anything. Soreness is directly related to exertion of the muscle. Not trying to sound like a dick or tell you what to do but maybe you should switch up your routine if you're not getting sore. I had the same problem and in hindsight I probably should have done different exercises.

You sound like an expert and not someone who has started working out a week ago

Ironically I've been at this for years and I've already explained this entire conversation in detail but you are hard headed which isn't benefitting you or I so again go fuck your body up, I'm not wasting my time

Based on everything tire saying you haven't done five minutes of research and it's obvious you wouldn't even know how to tell if you're actually getting results. You're literally so new that your muscles still hurt after working out and are behaving like you know more than I do on this subject that I've been at for 7 years. When more than one person can't tell if you're joking, it's a sign that you need to examine what you're talking about

But again I'm not wasting my time on it. This is moronic and a non starter. You won't listen.

At the end of the day, he wasn’t working out and now he is. There’s always a better way to do things, but @DeeThree , good for you for doing something, anything with consistency.

I've been working out for 10 years.

Oh I didn't realize you explained the entire conversation. I thought we were having one post by post. I am hard headed? You get this because of my statement that I found something that works for me that doesn't fit the status quo? Fair enough.

I've done some research, and for every scientist that says that something is this way, theres another saying the exact opposite.

LOL.

You obviously think you're too good to have a discussion so k peace.

The “I hit everything everyday” statement is really what threw me off. I give you credit for working out and trying something new. I think what Dave has been trying to tell you is that your body can’t sustain that type of schedule for too long without suffering some sort of injury. It just isn’t a healthy approach. I’m not a personal trainer but I did play college for a couple years. In addition to weight training sessions, we had film breakdown of our technique so that we would be able to improve it and avoid injury. I’ve been around a lot of highly qualified people that have made a career of making people stronger, not many of them have recommended what you’re suggesting.

Do your thing, just be careful doing it. I don’t think people realize how badly they can hurt themselves in the weight room.

It isn't just injury it's literally that your muscles need to

1. Be actually hit hard to break down which means hitting the muscle at every angle on the same day and

2. Giving your muscle enough time to repair, because this is how it grows.

It is basically the two most rudimentary aspects of lifting weights

Working 1 exercise per body part every single day does neither of those things. You will not get far if anywhere

Down to 197 from 207. Bloat left overnight. Like 7 lbs. I've dropped a few pounds of fat. I'll probably finish at 190 @ 11%.

I don't know what I'm doing next cycle. It was impossible to fit into clothes. Don't like the bloat. As great as orals are, yiu don't keep much of the weight. Probably going to go with tren and dbol just bc tren makes yiu feel like absolute shit and dbol makes you feel perfect, and bc tren should limit bloat

It is very difficult dealing with the roller-coaster of out sizing almost everyone to shooting back to eh overnight.

Thanks for all your help David. Good thing I'm hitting the muscle group with 4-5 exercises daily ;)
