Why are you seeing such better results now? Shit we could have you as DH if you were getting these results sooner.
We will see if I keep the gains

I switched compounds up, started taking orals too

I've had some gains in my tummy that i'm trying to drop. I store fat in the gut and the face. Its actually very quick for me to melt that away by just dropping my calories a smidge and playing some hoop. I want to put on a little muscle mass while cutting though. I know that's usually impossible, but I haven't lifted in forever, so I think its possible in that scenario as long as I get enough Brotein and quality rest to boot.

Sure you can make beginners gains there

Look at basics like calories in calories out and get a gram of protein per pound of bodyweight. Lift.

I have other factors with being diabetic. I can't be super high in protein because a lot of my organs are at longterm health risk because of my higher average sugar level. Kidneys among other organs can be a problem for older diabetics and too much protein can put stress on them.

My calorie intake can be an issue because sometimes I need to consume more calories because of low blood sugar (carbs) or even the opposite where my blood sugar is high so I cant stuff myself. I've noticed that lifting can actually elevate my blood sugar, where cardio will drop it like a stone. If my blood sugar is already high I can't lift.

I should be able to work that out with trial and error and perhaps a visit to a dietitian at my doctors office. I really don't need to drop a whole lot because my BMI is just 25. The goal would be to just drop some fat, increase some muscle mass, increase cardio. Essentially just get a little healthier to get a head star before 40's approach.

Sure, consider your unique factors. Ultimately you have to do calories in calories out to figure out how to gain or cut weight and yiu have to get enough protein to build muscle

Yep, I understand the basics of running at a calorie deficit and macro ratio. I could probably safely consume 105 grams of protein a day. I'm at about 174 right now, and I don't think it's a good idea for me to eat that much in grams of protein. I'll check with a nutritionist to see what I can comfortably consume.

Anyone else ever been diagnosed with high blood pressure? I recently was diagnosed and know all the basics (low/no sodium, low saturated fat, cut out processed foods, etc.), but was wondering if you have any favorite meal recipes or snacks?
research metabolic syndrome. That can lead to all kinds of problems, including high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, etc. When you get these conditions, you want to do the things needed to control them, but they'll get progressively worse if you don't address the underlying metabolic syndrome. if you reverse metabolic syndrome, they should go away.

Mine is sky high.

I can feel an immediate difference when I do cardio. My body and organs relax about 5 minutes in
