I gotta pull the plug on the bulk. It's impractical. My shit fucking hurts in the am. I am the heaviest I've ever been, and I'm not morbidly obese. I'm fatter than I'd like to be but that's fine, plenty of time to cut.

Plantar fasciitis is fucking nuts. I can't get out of bed mornings after I play. My shoulders are impinged in several places. My tendons can't keep up with the weight I'm pushing. I did too much on some exercise and immediate tennis elbow.. swing a bat the next morning and had to go to the emergency room for a cortisone shot. I can't keep up. Ps weighed myself at the hospital and I'm 221

It's fucking hard to accelerate, it's fucking hard to slow down after I do.


This was like 12 lbs ago




That's 43 lbs this bulk. My clothes.. do not fit. I've jumped 2-3 sizes. My baggy joggers are lululeggings now.

You're fuggin yolked man, nice.

I always go to absolute failure on my last set and really only 1 or 0 reps in reserve on other sets...I was actually thinking I might be going close to failure too frequently. I bench in a rack and don't stop that last rep until the bar isn't moving for like 5 seconds. And I'm definitely slow on the negatives as well, I've gotten a lot more disciplined the last few months as I learn more and more.

I'll post a physique once I'm done with my cut in a few months but it's far from special :chuckle: Might at least have a good before/after.

Got my blood work done. There are a handful of things that are just out of normal range. Ldl, however, is like twice what it should be.

Deciding what to do for the next 4 weeks.. whether it be recomp or to just stop the bulk or whatever.
 
Oh god I started running

Actually started as "bored of walking dogs in neighborhood let's go to the park"

Then I was like "kind of want to get this over with but also want to cover a decent distance" and then "let's throw on pace control to keep my walking speed brisk" and then "oh neat one lap is exactly one mile" and then i didn't stop until i'd done 4 miles

might start playing indoor soccer after taking a year off and it usually takes me three sessions over five months to get back into shape so

Try a vitamin D3/K2 supplement
 
Deffo hit the weights. No idea how much it helps bone density but I know it does help.

Just had an awesome workout this morning and that is after being awake from 2 to 4 AM thanks to my daughter. Weird how sometimes it just doesn't matter.

Also realized my workout log app (FitNotes) has some neat analyses.

Starting in June 2021...

Initial volume ~17,000 lbs/workout
Current volume ~25,000 lbs/workout (more on leg days)
Max volume 45,000 lbs (two-a-day)
Total volume 1.5M lbs (lol)
73 workouts, average 2.8/week

I'm gonna shoot for 3.5M in 2022! And get that average up to like 3.5/week realistically. Trying to see how my body responds to two on, one off which would be 4.7 per week but I don't think I will be able to maintain that.
 
Finally getting blood work done

My ldl is nuts. 190 a month ago, just clocked 165.that was after my blood was clear from aas

Going to actually clean the diet up so I can race to 100 and jump on again. I will really, really be turning a corner if I can cycle more than once a year.

215 right now.

My fucking feet hurts supporting all this weight. I'm probably gonna end up 190 super cut, hopefully 195, before the next bulk

Down 7 lbs already.. I'm keeping the fucking muse this time!!

Lucked into the nest cycle I've ever had.178 prior, will end up at like 200 cut I hope

I am taking a statin and have gotten rid of all saturated fat to lower LDL. Hopefully bulking again in a month and a half
