Dinosaurs? Did they really exist??

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just trying to see opinions. Guy from work and I had this discussion and he doesn’t believe they were real. Thinks all the bones are just from a bunch of different things and created for entertaining purposes. He doesn’t know how they could go together and make a dinosaur if no one has ever actually seen them. Said an entire, full dinosaur fossil has never been found intact before.

There haven't been 100% complete skeletons found because a fossil alone is an incredibly rare thing that needs perfect conditions to exist at all. They found a 90% skeleton. That is really impressive

My grandparents lived in the hill country outside Austin, TX growing up and they had several natural ponds on their 265 acre ranch.

Every day I would visit and walk around the ponds and there would be huge, huge coral fossils and sea shell fossils all over. Place was a time capsule of ancient creatures when Texas used to be underwater.

Does this person accept the fact that the Earth is 4+ billion years old, or that evolution is a real phenomena? Or is it conspiracy theories all the way down.

Ironically its because B batteries are dinosaurs and no longer needed. They used to exist, just like Single A batteries.

But how do you really know "B" batteries existed? Just because someone told you they did? They could just as easily be as much of a myth as the dinosaurs.

Conspiracy all the way. I love messing with this dude. He’s a nut job.

. He’s a nut job.

Nut job, huh? Ok, does he think the Browns should take Saquon Barkley with the #1 pick overall, because Saquon seems like it could be the name of a dinosaur. Saquonosaurous. Awesomeness.

Oh fuck this. Not this bullshit

I am old, my old time anal dildo used to take b batteries.

This is the holy grail right here. I think I could fathom at least how you could say, "well the bone isn't there. It has been replaced by minerals. This is a casting of a bone." or something like that. This dino tail in amber is the real deal and has actual material from the dino. Pretty amazing.

Yeah, I was definitely posing a rhetorical question there, Cavatt.. :chuckle:

But, yes, there's just absolutely no counterargument to the mountain of evidence out there on all of these topics.

So you are saying that God, a being who can do anything he wants, couldn't have created them when he blinked everything else into existences to test our faith? That's the brilliance of it. You can weed out the non-believers by providing them with tangible evidence they can see and touch, while all us right-thinking people can know those guys are wrong because we have a book with anonymous authorship mostly written in the Bronze age that tells us exactly what really happened.

So you think God is a practical joker and created evidence of things that never happened just to confuse us? That’s the theory you are going with?
