Interesting timing. $500 million in loans to Kushner's company after meetings with him in the White House. Purely coincidental no doubt.

Pure coincidence for sure.

The job never materialized, but in November, Apollo lent $184 million to Mr. Kushner’s family real estate firm, Kushner Companies. The loan was to refinance the mortgage on a Chicago skyscraper.

Even by the standards of Apollo, one of the world’s largest private equity firms, the previously unreported transaction with the Kushners was a big deal: It was triple the size of the average property loan made by Apollo’s real estate lending arm, securities filings show.

I don't like that Trump has been going after Jeff Sessions lately. Sessions was one of the first people to get onboard the Trump Train and this is how he repays him.

People are loyal to Trump but Trump is not loyal to them. They do 1 thing that Trump doesn't like or doesn't see as "fair" and he attacks.

Outside of his family, Hope Hicks lasted the longest with him but I think he liked having her around because she's a young attractive female.

That's one thing I really don't like about Trump. If he spent a little less time lashing out at people who are, more often than not, on his "side", I think he would have an easier time getting is agenda passed.

It definitely seems like he's still pissed at Sessions for recusing himself from the Russia probe. If he has nothing to hide it shouldn't bother him that much, imo.

One thing I will say about Hicks - no matter how much I disagreed with her - is that everything I have heard suggests she was outstanding at her job.

She certainly seems like a very lovely woman.

The problem is, I think he has a lot to hide; both in recent history and even further back. The bottom line is Trump has always believed rules don’t apply to him. He has, and as long as he’s not punished, will continue to do things that are not legal/ethical because they have been largely without consequence.

This seems like a bad idea. Steel as a major industry in the US is long dead. It’s like picking a fight, that will only harm us, with Apple and Microsoft to save the typewriter industry.

Any economists or conservatives’ thoughts on this?
The Dow has taken a 400+ point tumble since the announcement.

Breitbart is going in circles bashing and praising Trump. Calling him weak for "surrendering" on gun-control, and praising him for stigginit to the Globalists on steel.
